Any of Simple Pleasures' designs may be taught as a project for your class or workshop. You are welcome to choose any design from our pattern range or from my books Garden Party - Applique Quilts that Bloom or Tea in the Garden, Quilts for a Summer Afternoon, both published by Martingale and Company. I would also be happy to recommend a design that may be the most suitable for your group's particular time frame, skill level, and needs.
In all of the workshops, we will explore the areas of rotary cutting, elements of piecing, and applique. Both fusible and traditional applique techniques may be taught and, if applicable, the possible use of embellishments, such as threads, buttons, beads, etc. to make your quilte both special and unique.
In addition to classes featuring our designs, I also teach a three-hour workshop on "Fine Hand Quilting."

A 1 ½ hour talk on the customs and traditions of the Arabian woman. Experience the sights, sounds, scents, and tastes of desert life. For a short time, walk in her shoes. A truly unique experience!
This lecture is a wonderful addition to the 2-day workshop which we offer on PN 203 - Shifting Sands, or just a great addition to any of the other workshops.
